The HELP Lab is committed to improving health systems and their approach to solving issues pertaining to health equity through interdisciplinary collaboration and innovative and integrative research in the fields of health ethics, health law, and health policy.
We facilitate collaborative research and expertise of individuals, groups, and institutions across Western’s campus to pursue research questions to understand ethical, legal, and policy challenges that emerge in the organization and delivery of public health and health care. We work to produce useful research findings that support policies, professional practice, and programs aimed at providing real-world benefit and enhance the provision of high-quality care for Canadians.
