United Way of West Tennessee leads communities toward sustainable change. As the central hub within the nonprofit sector, we partner with local agencies in order to unite people in ways that improve each person’s access to health, education, and financial stability. In other words, we connect people to help people. Collectively, we coordinate solutions that address each community’s most critical needs in order to create a healthy, safe, and united West Tennessee.
UWWT’s extensive footprint allows us to collaborate with 56 area nonprofits spanning 15 counties across the region. Rather than serve as a holding tank for funds, we coordinate with these nonprofits to provide multi-faceted support for the programs they manage. By helping them acquire resources, we empower them to assist people in need within their local area.
