UZEI, the Basque Lexicography and Terminology Centre, was created with the goal to modernise the corpus of the language with particular attention to specialized vocabulary, providing solutions to the challenges posed by the integration of Basque in the knowledge society.
To accomplish these goals, UZEI works primarily in three areas: Terminology, Lexicography and Linguistic Engineering, has extensive knowledge of the resources and tools relating to these areas, and is also a leading provider of specialized translation services.
