With over two decades of experience, Uzma Iqbal MD is a highly skilled and effective physician leader, teacher, and mentor. Leveraging her dedication to medical education, patient care, physician leadership, and healthcare advocacy, Uzma has a unique ability to see the big picture while maintaining an acute awareness of each individual life's purpose and journey. Walking alongside her cancer patients, she has helped them turn a devastating diagnosis into a transformative experience. In deep-diving into introspective conversations, multidimensional world views, purpose dialogues, and community invocations, she uses a trifecta of hope, healing, and honesty to identify the tools required to "make the rest of your life the best of your life by making moments matter." She has developed The Making Moments Matter Framework that allows aspiring and practicing physicians to gain clarity of purpose and to build a narrative to draw upon whenever they feel a need to revisit or recalibrate their purpose and journey.
