V&D is een begrip in Nederland. Sinds 1887. Met 63 vestigingen op A-locaties, 2,2 miljoen wekelijkse bezoekers en een warenhuisbreed assortiment met eigen merken zoals SOHO, Frendz, LIV en Mart Visser The Collection en ook meer dan 4.500 A-merken shop-in-shops, waarvan er veel exclusief bij V&D te vinden zijn. Of het nu gaat om fashion, living, food & drinks, beauty, boeken of entertainment dat vandaag populair is, vind je bij V&D. Als ideeënhuis weten wij families in Nederland iedere dag te verrassen en te raken. We verkopen producten, maar leveren vooral ideeën die het leven fijn, bijzonder en vooral leuk maken.
Als omnichannel warenhuis bieden wij een uniek productaanbod via onze winkels, op vd.nl, de mobile site, de V&D App en social media. Producten besteld op vd.nl kunnen worden thuisbezorgd of in onze winkels en bij een aantal La Place restaurants langs de snelweg afgehaald.
In 1987 werd de eerste La Place in de V&D Utrecht geopend. Ondertussen heeft de succesvolle fast food service formule in de V&D warenhuizen en op vele locaties daarbuiten zich meer dan bewezen. Jaarlijks ontvangt La Place meer dan 38 miljoen gasten. Zowel V&D als La Place zijn sinds november 2010 onderdeel van Sun European Partners.
