V.Scope Risk Management Ltd is a strategic alliance between V.Group, a leading independent provider of maritime services, and respected independent Lloyd’s broker Seascope Insurance Services Ltd, whereby V.Scope has become an Appointed Representative of Seascope.
The London based joint venture was established in 2013 following a transfer of V.Group’s existing in-house insurance division into the new company. The V.Scope team is fully supported from a compliance and technical standpoint by Seascope’s highly experienced and qualified marine insurance and reinsurance practitioners.
Given the V.Scope team’s previous role as the insurance division of the world’s largest independent ship management company, our client focus will continue to be reputable shipowners, managers, financial institutions, as well as seeking to develop new alliances with other participants in the maritime industry, such as Charterers, Ship Repairers, Offshore Contractors and Shipyards.
In a similar vein to it’s majority shareholder V.Group, V.Scope mission is to offer its customers a one stop shop solution for all their maritime insurance and risk management needs, from review of existing policy terms and conditions, placement of the risk, documentation, accounting and policy renewals to assistance in the management of a casualty and claims handling.
V.Scope has vast experience in all the traditional marine insurances, and is willing to discuss bespoke solutions for a customer’s particular operational needs.
