How do you define efficiency? If you can eradicate tasks then do so; if you can't eradicate them, automate them; if you cannot automate them, delegate them. Anything that is left after you've done that are the things you actually need to do. My clients are experts in their field who nevertheless have a number of frustrations. Just 3 examples: the time they waste on admin tasks that don't pay the bills (despite how necessary they are); the awkwardness & time-consuming nature of having conversations to chase outstanding payments from debtors & not having anyone to delegate to.
