VAC-TRON (Hermetic assemblies) is a well-known family owned company, located 25 km North of Barcelona, which has been specializing in the design and manufacture of Glass to Metal Seals (GTMS) since 1985. Thanks to this broad expertise in the field today we can produce some of the most challenging components made with Glass to Metal Seal Technology.
We supply, worldwide, a variety of components - mainly electrical feedthroughs or connectors, used in sensors, relay bases, microelectronic packages, bases and lids for filters and oscillators, pyrotechnic igniters – used in many sectors, including aeronautic and aerospace, IoT (smart meters), military, medical, nuclear and petroleum industry, railroad and telecommunication.
As administration and factory are both located in the same building complex, we can directly survey the strict quality requirements of customers, in compliance with ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and EN 9100.
We are very proud to be one of the few Glass to Metal manufacturing companies able to carry out with our own workforce all the required processes at one location. After study of a particular customer project by our engineering team and discussion with the client, the order can pass through our factory making use of our up to date facilities, which include presses for glass preforms and metal parts, continuous and vacuum furnaces for glass sintering and brazing, and a continuous plating line offering a variety of finishes and comprehensive quality control equipment.
It is due to VAC-TRON’s professional and experienced team that the company is constantly searching for innovation, trying new techniques and materials, so progressing towards providing the very best product.
