Het Vakcentrum is de brancheorganisatie van de zelfstandige detaillist in de foodsector en de fast moving consumer goods. De Vakcentrumleden vertegenwoordigen zo'n 75% van de totale omzet in food gerealiseerd door zelfstandige ondernemers. Het Vakcentrum heeft zich ontwikkeld tot kenniscentrum op het gebied van zelfstandig ondernemerschap.
