Val de Gascogne est un groupe coopératif agricole régional présent sur 5 départements (Gers (32), Haute-Garonne (31), Hautes-Pyrénées (35), Ariège (09) et Lot-et-Garonne (47)). Val de Gascogne a pour ambition de participer à la transition agricole et agroalimentaire, vers une agriculture plus durable.
Pour ce faire, elle a engagé un projet stratégique ambitieux, nommé Val’horizon, pour répondre aux nouveaux enjeux de l’agriculture. Cette démarche repose sur quatre piliers : l’agronomie en remettant le sol au cœur des systèmes de production, l’économie pour apporter de la valeur ajoutée aux exploitations agricoles du territoire, l’environnement via la mise en place de pratiques favorables à la biodiversité et un pilier sociétal qui vise à prendre en compte les attentes et les besoins de l’ensemble des acteurs du territoire rural du groupe.
