At VALA, we believe in the power of nature. That’s why we use 100% natural ingredients in our energy gels: maple syrup, date paste, chia seeds, lemon juice, lime juice, matcha tea powder and Halen Môn sea salt. We don’t use hidden preservatives or additives - what you see on our label is exactly what you get. We're proud to be creators of an energy gel that you can actually look forward to eating!
Made from a base of date paste and maple syrup, our gels have a predominantly sweet flavour with a subtle citrus hint. As we use all natural foods, our formula is slightly thicker than most athletes might be used to and has a similar consistency to molasses.
VALA's ethos is underpinned by a holistic approach to exercise, which incorporates mental, physical and gut health. Hailing from Neath in South Wales, our name is derived from the Welsh girls name meaning ‘Chosen’, as we want athletes to have a natural choice of gel that helps them to perform at their best. Our gels are Informed Sport certified, so they can be used safe in the knowledge that they’re banned substance tested.
