ValenTec 'Professional in Proven Technologies' started January 4th 2016 and is a privately owned company. ValenTec has three business models and each of them generates income, ValenTec predominantly works as an independent agent.
In its agent role, ValenTec is an important link between you – the OEM – and the producer (the subcontractor or factory, also called the 'principal'). ValenTec has excellent technical knowledge and many years of experience in selling tailor-made technical products (parts and assemblies).
You, the OEM, develop a product and after the 'make-or-buy'-decision, you can buy these custom-made components. The players are the customer (you) and the principal (the factory). ValenTec is embedded in the principal’s organisation. So there is no mark-up percentage which could make the principal (or even you being the customer) less competitive.
All principals are widely recognized for competitiveness in the 'cost-quality-performance-communication'-ratio. Currently ValenTec is working for approx. 10 European subcontractors with different, non-competitive, technologies. Each of them is specialist in its field of technology. Specific additional operations are being outsourced. The principal takes over the final responsibility.
Besides being an agent, the other activities of technology expert ValenTec are 'consulting' and 'sourcing support'. These activities are strictly possible when ValenTec is really fully independent. This means the final technology should not be in its portfolio. In case it is, the service will be invoiced 'free-of-charge'.
Therefore, ValenTec supports the motto 'Always an Appropriate Advice'. They challenge you to experience it!
