The Valley Fire Department has served the citizens of Valley and western Douglas County since 1890. Consisting of 45 members, we serve a population of nearly 3000 people, covering approximately 45 square miles. The department is 100% volunteer, and responds to approximately 500 calls to service per year. We provide fire protection, technical rescue, and Advanced Life Support emergency medical services.
