Recruiting for me truly began as a desire to get out of teaching and coaching football in Southlake Texas and ultimately retire my wife, Victoria, from teaching herself. I was desperate for a career move and to try and build a life that teaching simply wasn't going to provide.
Turns out I had skills that went beyond the whistle and the classroom and they were perfectly aligned for recruiting. How have I been able to help companies solve the talent challenge?
Hard work, persistence, more hard work, and a TON of communication with a fair amount of luck. This is the centerpiece of my focus - Communication - which requires more listening than talking. Truly understanding the needs of a company and the "why" a professional is about to make their move - and then connecting those dots.
