Our value-oriented strategy involves purchasing undervalued assets, holding them long-term, and then selling them once their value has been restored. We base our investment approach on 4 pillars: (1) Strong fundamental analysis to assess the asset's true value; (2) Long-term focus to allow time for the market to recognize and correct undervaluations; (3) Significant margins of safety (difference between the asset´s market price and its intrinsic value) to minimize the risk of loss; and (4) Following a contrarian approach: going against market trends, buying when others are selling and focusing on undervalued companies overlooked by the market.
