In Nigeria, thousands of people work every day but still sleep on the streets. From artisans and cleaners to security guards and drivers, they keep the city running, yet have nowhere to call home. Vamilihouse is changing that. We are a social enterprise providing affordable shelter for low-income and homeless individuals by: - Converting shipping containers into safe, co-living spaces and also looking at revamping abandoned government buildings into functional shelters Our goal is simple: create clean, secure, and low-cost housing that restores dignity. For just ₦1,000 a night, residents get a bed, electricity, shared toilets, and a roof over their heads. This isn’t charity, it’s a sustainable solution. We believe shelter is a basic necessity, not a luxury. Because no one earning an honest living should sleep outside.
