Rick Vanasse has been a trusted advisor, consultant and coach to scores of executive leaders for more than 30 years. Rick’s consulting engagements are often an integrally woven part of a broader organization initiative or complex challenge of the executive leadership team including strategy development, organization design, leadership/team development and executive coaching. He has worked with all levels of management from the Board to front-line associates at Fortune 100 companies, not-for-profits, educational institutions, and faith-based companies. For the past 15 years Rick has done extensive work in healthcare. Rick’s strategic innovation and organization design consulting is focused on solving complex strategic and organization issues at all levels. Recent healthcare engagements include University of Iowa Medical Center, University of Toledo Physicians, Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center, Catholic Health Initiatives, Satellite Health, MedStar Health, Community Connections of Washington DC, Christus Health, and Bon Secours Health System. Rick has extensive experience assessing and redesigning organizations at the strategic and operational levels. He has built and led progressive organization design and development, change management, human resource, talent management, and learning functions within major healthcare and manufacturing companies. He has designed and implemented leadership and physician development curriculums for multiple healthcare systems, and continues to serve as an executive coach to a variety of leaders including hospital presidents, chief medical officers, and high potential physician leaders. Prior to consulting Rick served as an HR and OD executive with major healthcare and manufacturing companies including Bon Secours Health System, Weldwood of Canada, International Paper, and Champion International. He began his career on Wall Street consulting to senior level executives on ethics and corporate policy.
