The Vance Center is a program of the New York City Bar Association.
We fulfill our mission through two approaches:
1. We provide pro bono legal representation worldwide to dozens of NGOs and international governmental bodies in four practice areas: human rights and access to justice; the environment; institutional integrity; and public interest reporting.
2. We build the capacity of the legal profession in pro bono practice ethics, and diversity by engaging law firms, bar associations, law schools, and pro bono clearinghouses with innovative, global peer-to-peer initiatives.
