Vanchit Vikas

‘Vanchit Vikas’ established in 1985 under public trust Act based on the experience gained from ‘Janeev Sangathana’ which was functional since 1982. The founder of both these organizations was Late Hon. Vilas Chaphekar, a social reformer who thought that the unification of social reforms and constructive programmes is vital for achieving intended impact among communities. Janeev was aimed at holistic social reforms for addressing socio- economic and gender disparity, environmental concerns and population control. With his vision and mission, today Vanchit Vikas serves the most underprivileged communities, farmers, farm labourers in urban, rural and tribal areas of Maharashtra. Major projects are as follows.
