Vancouver Geochemistry Work Group

The Vancouver Geochemists Work Group has been around since 1969. The mission statement of the VGWG is to provide an opportunity for local geochemists to network and share ideas. This is a forum for new geochemical ideas to be discussed, without the hindrance of the scientific rigor required for an academic conference or a peer-reviewed journal. The VGWG is meant to nurture innovation, allow cross-pollination of ideas across corporate boundaries, and facilitate the sharing of anecdotal knowledge. Last, but certainly not least, it is a place where students (either graduate or undergraduate) can receive career advice and mentorship.
