Philippine Intercultural Student Organization

PISO serves Vanderbilt University and the greater Nashville community by engaging in a multifaceted approach in empowering students and community members — both of Filipino/Filipinx descent or with earnest interest in Filipino/Filipinx culture. PISO realizes this mission by creating a culturally collaborative environment, fostering cross-cultural metacognition, emphasizing diversity and inclusivity, and reflecting on the history of the Philippines. PISO, moreover, provides productive resources and opportunities that aim to accelerate the success of its members and the representation of the larger Filipino/Filipinx community in society.
