Vantage Capital Group is a real estate investment company focused on acquiring multi-family properties in the most dynamic primary and secondary markets across the country. These urban centers with strong employment trends offer both better growth and stability and ultimately potential for higher return on investment than national averages. We focus on properties of 100 units and more in order to maximize economic efficiency and bring in professional management with better systems in place. We focus on underperforming properties purchased at a good price that we can then turn around for higher income and long term appreciation. We typically focus on stabilized properties with at least 85% occupancy at purchase. However, we will consider low occupancy targets on a per case basis if the potential for higher return on investment is particularly interesting. In addition to the benefits of the economy of scale and professional property management, investing in multi-family real estate offer tax advantages such as interest deduction and depreciation expense over a number of years as specified by the IRS. Non-cash expenses reduce income and consequently taxes paid by the investor. The Founder Fedja Jovanovic is the founder and principal of Vantage Capital Group. He has been successfully investing in income-producing properties for the last ten years. He started off by purchasing a small multi-family property in Los Angeles and oversaw all the work involved in turning it around, from directing contractors, meeting with prospective tenants to interacting with city agencies in order to improve the neighborhood environment. He disposed of the property in 2013 with at a good profit during some of the most challenging economic times. Since then he has embarked on much larger projects where he can leverage capital and knowledge more effectively.
