Vanuatu Electronic Single Window System

Vanuatu’s Electronic Single Window system enables businesses to submit and pay for import and export certificates, licenses and permits online. The single window will substantially reduce barriers to trade, reduce border clearance times and improve security of traded goods. The VESWP is jointly funded with AUD450, 000 from the Australian Aid program (under the Governance Growth Program) and USD1.5 million under the Enhanced Integrated Framework (EIF). The United Nations Conference on Trade and Development supports the implementation of the project. The online system is efficient, it will increase flow of information between Customs and Trade, it will also facilitate the flow of Goods into and out of the country.
