VAP ARCHITECTS is a specialized firm in Architectural Implementation and BIM founded by Vassilis Alexandros Poutetsis in 2004. The range of our services spans from “A” to “Z” regarding all the development stages of projects: Due Diligence, Feasibility Study, Preliminary Design, Building Permit, Detail Design, Construction Documentation and Supervision. During the various stages the office undertakes the coordination of all parties involved in project execution. BIM is applied as a main process during design development and implementation. Our portfolio includes top range projects of complex design and construction demands. The office team consists of architects, experts in project execution and fully qualified in BIM. The contemporary built environment requires a wide variety of knowledge spanning between different disciplines and the ability to work closely with engineers of other disciplines in order to absorb their technical requirements and apply them harmoniously preserving the architectural identity of the projects. We work on foreseeing conflicts and preventing construction failures due to lack of coordination, thus protecting our clients from hidden expenses and delays in the project completion. VAP ARCHITECTS team has been involved in the past years in some very important projects in Greece and abroad, such as the construction documentation of “STAVROS NIARCHOS FOUNDATION CULTURAL CENTRE” designed by Renzo Piano, the “SKYWALKS” of the mega-project “KING ABDULLAH FINANCIAL DISTRICT” in Riyadh – KSA designed by Henning Larsen Architects and the Arrivals Concourse BIM pilot project of the Athens International Airport. Recently, we delivered to TERNA OVERSEAS the architectural execution in BIM for the buildings of Ayia Napa Marina in Cyprus. Some of our current projects are the restoration of Listed Public Buildings as part of the “Athens Resilient City” program and the implementation study in BIM of the New Cyprus Museum designed by XZA Architects.
