Varde Laks A/S is a family owned seafood company founded in 1987 and located on the West Coast of Denmark. Varde Laks A/S was established by Jørn and Lisbeth Jakobsen and in 2005 Thomas Jakobsen became co-owner.
Varde Laks A/S are certified with Kosher, IFS- and ASC certificates, and are specialized in production of processed fish (fillets and portions), and smoked seafood products of High Quality. Primarily cold and hot smoked salmon, Halibut and marinated salmon. All products in different variants and sizes.
Sales is mainly products to Foodservice, Wholesalers, Retailers and Industry throughout in Europe, but also for selected overseas markets such as the US and Australia. Varde Laks A/S exports approx 90% of its production and with the capacity extension in 2010 and 2018 Varde Laks A/S where ready for more sales activity.
