Studievereniging Klinische Technologie Variscopic

Variscopic is the study association of the bacholor Clinical Technology and the master Technical Medicine at the Technical University of Delft, University of Leiden and the Erasmus University Rotterdam. The name Variscopic is derived from the words 'Varis' (different/diverse) and 'Scopeo' (to look), because our students look from a different perspective to the medical- and technical world and let these worlds congregate. In a world filled with MRI-scans, automatic respiration, robot surgery, image processing and dialysis equipment, technology is becoming continually more important. These fast developments require a new kind of professional; the medical-technical specialist (the clinical engineer), who is equally employable in a hospital as in research and business. Variscopic was founded on the 15th of april 2014 and is committed to the well-being of her members, the students of Clinical Technology. The members are enthousiastic, social and active and like to participate in organising many activities, both in an academic areas and outside of that.
