Vaughan Premier, Ltd. began in 2001 as Vaughan Safety, Inc., offering safety consulting services and later expanding into safety products. They provided safety audits and ergonomics assessments in various industries. Recognizing the opportunity, they developed their own products, including a risk assessment toolkit, software program, and safety posters, which were sold successfully online. With expertise in online marketing, Vaughan shifted their focus to selling safety and ergonomics products. They established multiple website sales channels and expanded into the LED lighting market, offering warning lights for transportation, manufacturing, military, and construction. They also entered the special events and decor industry with LED lighting applications. Expanding beyond safety products, Vaughan changed their name to Vaughan Premier, Ltd. and experienced remarkable growth, increasing sales by 20% or more annually. To accommodate the demand, they expanded their facilities regularly, employing 30 individuals across various departments. To enhance scalability, Vaughan implemented Oracle NetSuite ERP, enabling real-time inventory tracking and integrations with their web stores. This optimized operational efficiency and improved customer service by providing better access to customer data. In 2017, Vaughan Premier, Ltd. was sold to two companies specializing in lighting and decor for special events and continuing the safety products line. The founders, Jeffrey and Deanna Vaughan, have moved on to new ventures, proud of their journey from a garage startup to an $8 million enterprise.
