The long-term safeguarding of the business field of conformity assessment is in the primary interest of all members of the VAZ. The credibility/reputation of the national and international conformity assessment system is an indispensable prerequisite for this. Both the conformity assessment bodies and the accreditation bodies must contribute to this through credible certificates and accreditations. The members of the VAZ are committed to this. Our field of work is characterized by a large number of international and national regulations. The members of VAZ e.V. are committed to ensuring that the conformity assessment system remains operational in the interests of their customers and in their own interests. The VAZ e.V. is involved in the design of the conformity assessment system. To this end, it actively supports all key committees of the national accreditation system in setting regulations. Membership of EFAC ensures participation in all important international regulatory bodies. Through the exchange and cooperation with other interest groups and the involvement of all members, the demand for up-to-date and practical information is ensured. The VAZ e.V. sees it as its task to sift through this information, process it and distribute it to its members as far as permissible. The equal treatment of all participants is an essential aspect of building trust in the conformity assessment system. The VAZ e.V. is committed to ensuring that this is guaranteed both nationally and internationally.
