VEClim

The Climate-Driven Vector-Borne Disease Risk Assessment project (VEClim) is hosted by The Cyprus Insitute and supported by the Wellcome Trust as part of Digital Technology Development Awards in Climate-Sensitive Infectious Disease Modelling. We aim to develop predictive tools to inform better timing and higher efficiency in vector control and help to reduce the environmental impact of insecticides. We aim to contribute to vector-borne disease prevention by incorporating climate-sensitive risk assessments into early warning systems.
