VECtor Medical Technologies is an early-stage, medical technology start-up company. Its mission is to foster a team of open-minded and diverse individuals across the healthcare space with the goal of actively investigating where the highest impact value unmet needs in this innovation gap lie and work with the healthcare stakeholders to find the best possible solutions for them. In line with this mission, the company is currently addressing the problem of surgical nerve damage.
The inability to see nerves during surgery is a constant challenge surgeons face, resulting in unintentional damage and life-threatening or chronic complications across urology, ENT and general surgery. VECtor is addressing this issue by creating a device to help surgeons identify nerves in real-time for the first time.
Our core team consist of our two co-founders who are biomedical engineers from The University of Melbourne with BioDesign Innovation background, and an MBA graduate from Melbourne Business School with experience in healthcare management.
