At VectorGen, our mission is to unlock the full potential of gene therapy by building a next-generation lentiviral delivery system—one designed from the ground up for both safety and effectiveness. Our proprietary “A-Frame” platform represents a quantum leap in gene delivery technology, solving the longstanding challenges of genomic disruption, replication incompetence, and limited payload capacity. We are pioneering a modular, CRISPR-enhanced vector that can selectively target, integrate, and express therapeutic genes with unprecedented precision, including in hard-to-transfect tissues. VectorGen is developing this technology as both a research tool and a therapeutic asset. Our versatile kit allows laboratories to adapt the A-Frame platform for gene editing, stem cell work, and disease modeling—supporting applications in basic science, cancer research, regenerative medicine, and infectious disease. As proof of concept, we are deploying our platform in service of one of the world’s most urgent unmet needs: an eradicating cure for HIV. Our lentivector is designed to deliver site-specific gene payloads and immunologic constructs that restore patients to HIV-negative status (seroreconversion)—a true functional cure.
