Veil engineered shading offers a first-of-its-kind solution to interior shading system design and construction. Our founders, Adam and Ben MacKenzie, have over two decades of combined experience in the A/E/C industry as both practicing Professional Engineers and partners multiple Div.12 subcontractors, bringing experience in design and construction to bring new light to the shading industry. Shading systems have transformed - nearly overnight - from a simple manually-controlled device to a fully automated solar-tracking daylight control system. This rapid increase in complexity has created a new role in building design and delivery: the shading design consultant.
