Velfrey Vineyard

Velfrey Vineyard is a family-run vineyard set in the Pembrokeshire countryside and established in 2016. It occupies a gentle south-facing slope where we have over 4,000 vines planted across 2 acres and pride ourselves on our attention to every detail. Because of this, a number of our wines have achieved national recognition. Our Velfrey sparkling non-vintage won a silver at the WineGB Awards and was selected as one of the Top 100 UK wines in 2023. Our first vintage, the 2019 cuvée reserve, won silver at the Glass of Bubbly Awards in 2021. The vines are planted in clay loam, a soil type which is found in some of the world's most prestigious wine growing regions. Throughout the season we offer guided tours & tastings of our award-winning wines.
