In Queensland, the Company is exploring the advanced North Queensland Vanadium Project, progressing its strategy to develop vanadium products that can be transformed into vanadium electrolyte, the key ingredient in Vanadium Redox Flow Batteries (VRFBs). The Company’s other key projects include, the Lake Pierre Lithium Project located in eastern Quebec, Canada covering ~36km2 and prospective for ‘Moolyella-style lithium mineralisation, and the Kotai Hydrogen Project, a collaboration with Curtin University in Perth investigating the production of ‘on demand’ hydrogen. Velox’s project is targeting the safe transport of hydrogen via inert materials, with hydrogen generated wherever required on demand. These projects, along with other business development opportunities the Company may consider in the future, are all focused on the successful and safe storage of electricity that can be deployed as required.
