It was founded again in Göteborg, Sweden, in 2006, by Fahad Khan & Johan Thörnqvist, students of Management and Economics of Innovation program at Chalmers University of Technology, also in Göteborg, Sweden. The name "Vendevo" was coined in 2011 by Ida Munker and Therése Larsson from Chalmers School of Entrepreneurship during their research internship at Vendevo’s New York Office.
