Category B polluting activity permit No. VE 14 IB 0004 is issued for handling and storage of the following petroleum and chemical products: petrol A-92; unleaded motor gasoline; petrol, straight-run; alkylbenzene; diesel; combustible fuel; improved solvent; hydro-stabilised pyro-condensate; solvent; methanol; methyl tert-butyl ether (MTBE). A Category B polluting activity permit may be supplemented as necessary. The total area of Ventall Termināls Ltd., which is leased from the Freeport of Ventspils Authority, is 71,051 m2. The average ship loading pace at each berth ranges from 1,400 m3 to 1,700 m3 per hour. When loading from small tanks (T001; T002) - 400 m3 to 450 m3 per hour. Ships are loaded at two berths. Berths 35A and 36 have the capacity to handle vessels with DW 40000 and DW 60000 tonnes respectively. The terminal can handle cargo volumes of up to 2 million tonnes per annum.
