The brand launched online in December 2017, with its Luxury Dual-tone Contouring Lip-Colour story. Comprised, of 10 dual tone shades, the launch line of lipsticks delivers fuller-looking lips, thanks to the complementary dual-tones that blend seamlessly to create a gradient ombre effect in just one stroke.
With big ambitions to expand the range, Venus Cosmetics plans to share its potent combination of cosmetics and confidence with women and men from Milan to Melbourne, and around the globe.

It is no coincidence Venus chose a dual-tone lipstick line to launch her brand and called it Mixed Emotions.
She wanted to share her simple discovery, that applying a pop of colour to your face can be a powerful catalyst for positive emotional change.

The vision to develop a cosmetics brand came from a discovery during a dark time in Venus’ life when she was searching for ways to re-invent herself.
Her darkest moments followed the birth of her second child. Giving up her daily lawyer life, and the dramatic toll of
two medically difficult pregnancies, left her feeling like a person that she no longer recognised.
Her sadness reminded of the heartache and grief that she felt when her beloved grandmother was gravely ill.
It was during this memory flashback that she questioned “how was it, that despite her physical pain and deterioration, her grandmother still managed to live joyously?” Then it came to her – LIPSTICK!!!
No matter how bad she felt in her bed-ridden state, she would encourage Venus to apply makeup to her face. It was their favourite ritual. It transported her from the most difficult moments to a place of unconditional joy and happiness.
Although Venus didn’t realise it at the time, she had discovered the potent combination of cosmetics and confidence.
