Veradat is a privacy-friendly data sharing solution to combat fraud, money laundering and financing of terrorism. Currently banks don't share client information related to these financial crimes due to fear of erratic whistleblowing or exposing sensitive data. This allows financial criminal networks to operate in the financial ecosystem even after being spotted. Our platform enables financial institutions to access information that before would have remained undetected, we shape a ‘virtual information cloud’ between autonomous organizations that enables secure and anonymous real-time information sharing to protect banks from bad actors. With Veradat, client's key background information that is distributed between autonomous organizations becomes available to be consulted as soon as it emerges, creating a ‘dynamic collective intelligence’ without infringing upon security, confidentiality, privacy and/or data protection regulations. Our technology has a ‘privacy by design’ framework that uses distributed agents to facilitate decentralized but integrated information access to complement KYC and AML processes.
