Veramtex is a finishing textile company.
It is using for more than 30 years a fabric treatment process based on liquid ammonia on natural fibres (cotton, linen and regenerated cellulose).
It improves a lot of characteristics of the fabrics (including handle, crease recovery, mechanical resistance, ...).
During this treatment called Beau-Fixe, all the ammonia is removed from the fabric, and over 99.5 % of it is recovered and recycled.
This makes it a very ecological process.
In 2012, Veramtex diversified by investing in a new machine and provides a flame retardant treatment : Flame-Fixe.
