About La VerdEco'Bici
We are Apollonie and Louna, engineering students on a gap year from Mines Paris and IMT Atlantique, and co-founders of La VerdEco’Bici. Driven by our thirst for adventure and our desire to explore tangible solutions, we have envisioned a unique project for 2025: cycling across Latin America to study the challenges of sustainable finance and its role in decarbonization. Over six months, we will travel nearly 7,000 km by bike across four countries – Argentina, Chile, Bolivia, and Peru. Along the way, we will meet entrepreneurs, investment funds, and associations committed to ecological transition. These encounters will allow us to highlight innovative projects aimed at reducing greenhouse gas emissions and assess whether sustainable financing can truly help build a more virtuous future. Supported and incubated by the NGO International Impact, this project combines a focus on environmental transition, an analysis of sustainable financial solutions, and a sporting challenge promoting sustainable mobility through cycling.
