Verified on Chain has created a certification management service built on Blockchain. Blockchain is a revolutionary new technology dubbed as ‘The New Internet’ helping different industries find efficient and trustworthy ways of conducting business. Verified on Chain has created a system for universities to be able to offer certificates to both graduating and graduated students on Blockchain. Verified on Chain will provide end-to-end management of the service including managing student queries, uploading and managing certification, aiding in placement process for employers to be able to verify student certificates. A certificate today is a potential minefield of half-truths and complete-lies. Data and statistics aside, the sheer volume of web-space dedicated to helping spot frauds in educational degrees would indicate it is a big issue. Enter Blockchain. The underlying data structure and storage system of blockchain ensures that any data, once recorded on it, becomes immutable. There is practically no way to edit or delete the data once entered on the blockchain network and approved by nodes. Also, specific records on the Blockchain can be entered via permissioned protocols only by select parties.
