VERITY

VERITY (Developing Scientific Research with Ethics and Integrity) is an EU project focused on enhancing public trust in science and promoting science-society collaboration. By understanding the factors that influence trust, VERITY aims to develop evidence-based strategies to strengthen the relationship between scientists, policymakers, and citizens. The project emphasizes science-society co-creation, involving citizens in research and decision-making processes. Through comprehensive studies and stakeholder engagement, VERITY will generate insights and recommendations for policymakers, scientists, and communicators of all sorts. Policy briefs and communication materials will guide on enhancing public trust, supporting co-creation, promoting responsible research, and improving science communication. VERITY seeks to empower stakeholders with actionable knowledge, creating an environment where science is trusted, valued, and integrated into policymaking for the benefit of EU citizens and a sustainable future.
