Verplex was a formal verification company, offering a solution for functional closure. Verplex's BlackTie functional checker eliminated structural and semantic inconsistencies in the RTL reference design, thereby ensuring your RTL is golden prior to implementation. The Conformal Logic Equivalence Checker (LEC) and Transformal Logic Transistor eXtractor (LTX) products ensured that the golden design was correctly implemented from RTL to layout.
Since the acquisition by Cadence, Verplex technology continued to scale in its customer and market adoption. The Conformal product line continued its growth as a key component of the Cadence digital design and implementation flow, expanding its portfolio to low power verification and ECO automation, along with support for 3rd party flows. The BlackTie product line was integrated with Cadence technology and continues being leveraged for formal verification as part of the Cadence System Development Suite.
