Verres, a Mumbai-based art consultancy, was born at a time when the concept of ‘public art’ was fairly unexplored in India. The 18-year-old agency was one of the first to create magnificent public art installations, sculptures, planters and murals for developers, interior designers, architects and individuals. Today, art commissioned by Verres beautifies gardens, lobbies, parking ramps, building entrances and road junctions. Verres is Niloufer Gandhi’s brainchild. She’s adept in the fields of stained glass painting, metal sculptures, pottery, masks and moulds. Her daughter-in-law Panna has introduced contemporary art forms that best suits urban temperaments. Together the duo ideate with a wide range of artists, sculptors and designers to produce cutting edge works of art for the Verres clientele.
