Versus Art Project was founded in 2015 by Leyla Ünsal and Mert Ünsal, is an international contemporary art gallery, based in Istanbul.
The gallery focuses on contemporary art by both emerging talents and established artists, who work in a wide variety of media, and is one of the prominent Turkish galleries within photo-based art.
With five to six shows per year, the exhibition program varies between solo exhibitions of represented artists and group exhibitions organized by invited curators.
In addition, the gallery strengthens its position in the cultural field with seminars and artist talks organized in collaboration with talented curators, writers, and critics as well as its active exhibition program.
Located in Taksim, the historical center of Istanbul, Versus Art Project participates regularly in art fairs both in and outside Turkey, such as Enter Art Fair, Zona Maco, Photo London, Photo Basel among others.
Artists represented by the gallery exhibit in international museums, biennials, galleries, and are part of national and international private collections.
