Versus Entertainment is a production/distribution company based in Madrid and Barcelona (Spain). Specialized in genre and art-house films, its major activity is based on feature-length films production and distribution of genre and arthouse pics. Our target is to produce a quality genre and author movies with worldwide economic relevance. We work in tight collaboration with its authors and directors, in order to establish long-lasting relationships and develop more ambitious and international projects. Among the participation on films, Alejandro Miranda has been involved in films such us Guest ( Dir. Jose Luis Guerin) and BURIED ( Ryan Reynolds) as an executive producer. Also he has participated as an investor on Emergo, apartment 143 ( Carlos Torrents) and Red Lights ( Robert Deniro, Sigourney Weaver). Versus latest production is Boi, a feature film directed by Jorge M. Fontana. Some of Versus’ most significant distributions include Perfect Sense (David Mackenzie), Submarine (Richard Ayoade), and Woody Allen: A Documentary (Robert B. Weide). Recently, Versus has brought internationally celebrated films to Spain such as Colossal (Nacho Vigalondo), Columbus (Kogonada).I Am Not A Witch (Rungano Nyoni), Nico 1998 (Susanna Nicchiarelli) or First Reformed (Paul Schrader). Versus latest release is La Suite Nupcial, a feature film directed by Carlos Iglesias.
