We remove 'end-of-life' equipment from business, including desktops and accessories, servers, networking, storage appliances, and infrastructure. Equipment is fully audited with make/model/serial and commodity weight, and all drives and configurations are purged in compliance with SERI R2v3.
Using this direct-from-business inventory, Vertex Systems provides build-to-order servers, storage, networking, infrastructure and endpoints to a wide range of Managed Service Providers (MSP), VARs, SMB, Enterprise, and Third-party Maintenance (TPM) companies across Canada, the US and worldwide. Our hardware is build-to-order, fully tested and updated, and covered by a 3 year advance RMA warranty, available up to 5 years.
Vertex Systems is a small company, which allows us to provide decommission services at below market rates - in fact, on equipment less than 6 years old, services are free, and for newer equipment, we provide services for free and pay back market price as well. Our refurbished hardware is of top-notch quality, competitively priced, and comes with an industry leading advance warranty to ensure peace of mind.
We also maintain a lively community of students and hobbyists, by reserving high-quality older hardware at a special price for use in homelab and for study. We regularly hold 'homelab night', a recurring free meetup for students, hobbyists and professionals to talk tech in a fun, low-stress environment. High-end or otherwise unobtainable enterprise hardware is showcased for teardown and rebuilding, and students and pros alike can bond over their love of hardware.
