Founded in 2018, Vertical Data Centers (“Vertical”) is a privately-owned real estate investment firm, with a focus on acquiring, developing, and operating internet real estate properties in select markets across North America. Vertical’s mission is to support our client’s mission critical needs by providing top-tier physical infrastructure, technical expertise, and best in class operational procedures. As the growth and advancement of cloud computing, data utilization, and mobile devices continue to drive the need for data centers and related internet infrastructure, Vertical pursues strategic acquisitions and select development opportunities across a variety of risk profiles and operational structures, ranging from powered base building deployments to turnkey colocation data centers. Vertical’s integrated team of professionals offers a full range of development and portfolio management services from site selection and planning to build-to-suit construction, leasing, financing, and asset re-positioning. During their careers, the principals of Vertical have transacted across $1.8 billion in mission critical real estate, comprising more than 4.0 million square feet and ~290 megawatts (“MW”) of critical power.
