Gouda is een nieuw festival rijker. In het weekend van 19 t/m 21 september barst in de hele binnenstad De Verwondering los, een groots festival vol muziek, beeldende kunst, dans, (straat)theater en onverwachts spektakel in het hart van Gouda. De Verwondering is een direct vervolg op de succesvolle Gouda750 Finale, die gevierd werd in 2022. Het festival komt jaarlijks terug en wordt de opening van het culturele seizoen. Bijna alle programmaonderdelen zijn gratis, voor sommige is het wel nodig om te reserveren of voor een klein bedrag een ticket te kopen.
