Veteran Support Denmark

The Veteran Support Denmark (Veteranstøtten) was established in 2001, under the name of the "Comrade Support Program", as an alternative contact option for mainly Danes, who have been deployed by the Danish state in international missions. The purpose of Veteran support Denmark is, among other things, to intercept those who are suffering from mental after reactions and not do not seek the public system before they become a burden for themselves, for their families and for society. Veteran Support Denmark is runned in the framework of Denmarks Veterans. The work of the Veteran Support Denmark is carried out by unpaid volunteers. There is no requirement for membership of an association / organization to get help from, or act as an active helper in, the Veteran Support Denmark.
